Alp Angel Bergamascos is a small preservation breeding program dedicated to the Bergamasco Sheepdog, a rare, old world herding breed. Based in New England, our focus is on thoughtful breeding practices that support correct breed type, improved structure, stable temperament, and long-term health.

Our dogs are evaluated throughout growth and maturity, with careful attention paid to how form supports function. We believe responsible preservation breeding means acknowledging where a breed has been — and working intentionally toward where it should be.
